Keep Beach City Con fun

a) Accommodations: Ticket purchases DO NOT guarantee availability of rooms at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center. We highly suggest that you book a room as soon as possible after purchasing your convention ticket. You must call our venue directly to book a room at the reduced convention rate.

b) OUTSIDE ALCOHOL POLICY: Any outside alcohol must remain in your room. Please note that NO outside alcohol is permitted in the ballrooms/meeting rooms. This is important; you will be requested to leave without a refund if caught with outside alcohol in the Resort’s common areas. There will be alcohol served on premises.

c) You are welcome to keep your own beverages and food in your room. All suites come with a microwave and refrigerator.

d) SMOKING POLICY: Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center is a smoke-free facility. We also ask that for the comfort of your fellow attendees you do not smoke within 50 feet of the resort doors or windows. If we see anyone doing so we will have to ask you to move elsewhere.

Please be aware that if you wish to plan an outing off-site with other con attendees you are welcome to do so but Beach City Con will not be liable for any accidents, injuries or any other mishaps that may occur while you are off-site.

e) CANCELLATION: Beach City Con reserves the right to cancel ticket purchases once we are notified in writing that you are no longer attending. Please note this is not the same as notifying us that you intend to transfer your ticket. In the event that we exercise this right and cancel a ticket, all effort will be made to refund you the price you paid for your purchase, however, we will not guarantee this in any way. All refunds are still subject to the Transfer Policy terms and conditions.

f) ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY: Beach City Con is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone [regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion or opinion/view.]  Please view our NO TOLERANCE harassment policy for more information.

i) As a general policy, Beach City Con does not take sides in personal disputes among individuals.
